"...chai would be lovely, thank you," Hermione decides after a moment's pause. It's cold enough outside that iced tea isn't an option, and between the other two options, something with a little more kick feels right for the occasion. She closes her eyes for a moment, enjoying the scent of the apartment before making her way to the sofa with a small smile.
Something about it reminds her of the Burrow, chasing after comfort more than appearances.
"I like your apartment," she remarks honestly, looking up at Lafayette with a small grin. "It's as eclectic as your clothing." Folding her hands primly on her lap, Hermione leans carefully against the back of the sofa.
"I should be thanking you for meeting with me, though. Ever since all of us saw what happened on new year's, it simply feels like the education of the people here in Darrow needs to take place sooner rather than later. I thought it only logical to start with a friend."
