"Hey," Kate says when she appears beside Mindy, the dress she's wearing swishing around her feet as she walks. For a long time she'd thought of herself as the type of person who wasn't really into weddings, but here she is and she's actually really enjoying herself. That her own is coming up kind of quickly isn't far from her mind and while she hasn't quite started panicking about it yet, it's getting there.
"Are you lurking?" she asks, grinning. "You could totally be my date." Newt's here somewhere, but he's not with her right at the moment and she thinks switching dates is totally a thing.
