After hearing Ron's vows and extending a welcome to the most recent arrival from their family, Hermione feels like she's awash in constant emotion, secretly brushing away an occasional tear or two as she goes around greeting all of the guests at the wedding. When she spots Elle by the refreshment table, Hermione easily wanders over, feeling breathless and in need of a drink.
"Elle!" she exclaims, quickly approaching to sweep her friend into a hug. "Elle, thank you so much for coming to the wedding. And — I hope the reception is enjoyable, but before that, I just have to say — you have to tell me where you got your dress. It's absolutely beautiful, and the color suits you so well."
