His expression turns from amusement to concern almost instantly, when his mother mentions her time of arrival.
"Bloody hell, you've come straight from the Battle at Hogwarts?" He asks her, eyes widening. "When I was last back in our world, it'd been a month since...all that happened."
He doesn't hesitate; he pulls his mother straight into another hug, only barely able to imagine her current emotional state.
