His mum had told him how she found the wedding. That Agatha— a girl Hermione had told him about, and said she'd be inviting— had found her and brought her. And there weren't really words for how grateful he was for that. Ron had come to terms with the fact that most of his family wouldn't be there to see he and Hermione get married, but to have his mum there, even just seeing it all from the back of the group, meant more than just about anything.
He's got two slices of cake with him when he finds her sitting: one for him and one for her.
"Heard you're the one who brought the extra guest," Ron said, taking the seat next to her.
