"It's just pain vanilla, but I think I can find some chocolate too, if you'd like that instead," Ron said once she'd taken the proffered cake from him. It wasn't enough to thank her for having brought his Mum to the wedding, for making sure that she'd been there to see it when they'd both been convinced that all four of their parents were going to miss it, but it was a start.
