Because Steph was way, way out of his league. But he wasn't going to say
that because then she'd just argue that Steph wasn't and it would be
awkward. Besides, it was her wedding day and he was probably supposed to
just agree with her about everything or something. Weddings were still new
to him.
"And, uh, you're welcome for having me here," he said, awkwardly hugging
her back. Physical contact like that was still not something that he was
used to. Not at all. "But it's awesome. It's the best wedding I've ever
been to and everything is having a good time. We're all really happy for
you guys."
