Hearing such praise of the reception from someone whom Hermione is only getting to know warms her chest immediately, and she breaks into an almost unbelieving smile. Her cheeks are still flushed from the excitement of the day, and Hermione can't help but peek briefly in Ron's direction, spotting him off to the side and chatting up some of the other guests.

"Thank you," Hermione says, quickly meeting Emmett's gaze again and briefly pressing her lips together, unable to contain her enthusiasm. "Thank you so much. It's a little bit unbelievable — like I can't quite wrap my head around how a few hours is all it takes to make me a married woman — but I've been having loads of fun with everyone here. I hope I'm not pulling you away from too much work?"
