"Oh, uh, I've been good. I got a part time job I can do after school so I've been saving up my money," he said. The idea was to eventually be able to afford his own apartment so that Coraline could move in with Alex. Not that Coraline or Alex knew about this plan just yet but that was probably for the best.
"But yeah, I should stop by the shop sometime to say hi. Uh, so long as you don't mind that I wouldn't be buying anything."
