"Iiiiii am not going to just stop by your house," Billy said. "That would

Because not only was she just married but that was not a thing that Billy
did. He didn't just stop at someone's house to hang out. If he was
invited to come at a specific time that was something different but he
couldn't ever remember a time in his life when he just... showed up.
"But if you just happen to bring leftovers to the shop and I just happen to
be there, I wouldn't refuse them," he added. He had lived on the street
enough that he never turned down free food.
