Hermione's smile softens. If Emmett is anything like herself, then he probably is feeling the pull of his desk even during a celebration like this, but Hermione knows as well as anyone how important it can be to pull oneself away and clear their head now and again. Besides, the whole day has been full of happiness, filling Hermione's heart to the point of spilling over. That's not something she'll ever regret sharing with others.
"It's just a few words and a pair of rings, but... it changes everything," Hermione admits, cheeks flushing over anew. "Your girlfriend actually helped me to pick out the dress, so I really have her to thank for helping to make this day so wonderful. Have the two of you been together for long?"
