"Quite frankly, I think that all of us have earned the right to speak with a certain amount of authority, don't you think? I'm sure that there are people on the island who've seen a comparable amount. I'm sure there are those who've seen things that even the two of us can't imagine. But all of us have been rather involved in conflict since a very young age. We've certainly the experience to make those quick and decisive choices, if it comes to that."
